I'm not able to update my status from my profile by selecting the update link from last two days.
Whenever I click the 'update' link, the page goes to the www.pikagame.com

Try clearing your cache, that might help!

Try slowing down and wait for the current page to finish loading before you click the update link. Same goes for accepting friends.
